Something is Rotten in the State of Holborn!
A film noir style production of Hamlet, exploring the claustrophobia, paranoia and corruption of Elsinore by transporting the action to 1930s Chicago. Claudius now runs a criminal empire during the period of prohibition; silhouetted figures emerge from the mist to the strains of the saxophone and piano. Nothing is as it seems in this Hitchcockian investigation into the seedy underbelly of the city.
Contains references to suicide.
