Hampshire Business Networking - Netwalking in Basingstoke

Come join us for a unique networking experience! Netwalking combines the benefits of networking with the joy of walking through the beautiful countryside areas of Basingstoke. Connect with fellow business professionals while enjoying the surroundings of this picturesque location. Don't miss this opportunity to make meaningful connections in a relaxed and scenic setting. Lace up your walking shoes and get ready to network like never before!

Hampshire Business Networking (HBN) brings netwalking to the Basingstoke area every third Thursday of the month. Netwalking is an active and informal alternative to traditional networking and provides the perfect opportunity to build business relationships whilst enjoying our beautiful Hampshire countryside. Everyone is welcome to join the group and you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome.

Our Basingstoke Netwalks are led by local nutrition coach Kate Houldsworth.

The walk will be a circular route, starting at Bartons Mill pub in Old Basing, and includes Basingstoke Common and Crabtree Plantation. Then back to the pub for coffee or whatever you fancy!

Although not an overly strenuous walk, the route does include some uneven ground, woodland and a bit of an incline, and there may be some muddy patches if wet. Wellies or walking shoes/boots recommended!

Meet at 10.50am at the Bartons Mill car park on Bartons Ln, Old Basing, Basingstoke RG24 8AE. Parking is free and we will pop into the pub after the walk for refreshment and more chat. As the pub doesn't open until 12.00, there should be plenty of parking available.

It's only £5 to join the walk, free for charity workers. All proceeds go to the HBN charity of the year, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Agenda and Location:

10.50 - Meet at Bartons Mill, Old Basing

11:00 - 12.30 - Walk

12.30 - 1.00 - Drink and chat

Ticket price:

The non-refundable fee is £5.

Tickets are free of charge for charity workers but please don't forget to book so we know who to expect.

HBN use LinkedIn for all communications; so please join our group for updates and notifications. Hampshire Business Networking Limited trades as a Not for Profit, Social Enterprise and is run entirely by volunteers.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Everyone taking part in a HBN Netwalk activity does so at their own risk.
  • We do not employ qualified guides or first aiders on any of our events. The Netwalk works on the same basis of being a group of friends who go out walking together, who invite others to join them on this basis.
  • Event organisers and event leaders assume no responsibility for anyone attending any of the Netwalks. Netwalk organisers and walk leaders will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any Netwalk event or in connection with travel to such event, however caused.
  • When you join a walk, you indicate that you accept these conditions and accept that no legal liability is accepted by event organisers or event leaders in the event of accident or injury, however caused.
  • Participants in Netwalks are reminded that outdoor activities frequently need specialist equipment (boots, waterproofs, etc) and the organiser does not provide these. Participants are responsible for assessing their own risk, the safety of themselves and the suitability of any equipment used. Any Medical Conditions that may affect the participants during the walk should be notified to the walk leader prior to the start of the walk.

  • HBN may record and photograph the Netwalks and its attendees. By attending the programme, you consent to your image being used by HBN for PR, communication, and marketing purposes. If you do not want your image shared it is your responsibility to make the HBN team aware of this before attending, or at the start of the event.
