I’m pleased to let you know that Sue Lee, owner of Compass Safeguarding Consultancy will be working in partnership with Hampshire Care Association (HCA) to establish a Safeguarding Forum for registered managers and designated safeguarding leads. This is a free service for HCA members.

The purpose of the Safeguarding Forum is to develop a ‘safeguarding community of practice’ for local care providers, providing opportunities to advance their leadership of safeguarding and to share best practice in order to strengthen safeguarding work within the sector. This is in response to the challenges arising from the pandemic era, the new emerging regulatory framework and the introduction of local and national developments all of which will influence the safeguarding agenda going forward.
