Hampshire Healthy Heroes - this 1hr workshop is available to registered Early Years settings in Hampshire.
Would you like to join us on a journey to help the children in your setting aged 3+ become Healthy Heroes?
Hampshire Healthy Heroes works with Early Years settings supporting healthy starts for young children and increasing Emotional, Physical and Oral Health outcomes. The interactive session aims to enable Early Years settings to educate children in a fun and interactive way, so they understand the importance of self-care and have the knowledge to implement healthy habits with the support of their parents, carers and Early Years settings.
The workshop will cover:
• Oral Health – visiting the dentist, teeth brushing, healthy foods;
• Physical Health – how to stay active, physical activities for children;
• Wellbeing – recognising and managing emotions and feelings, building confidence and self-esteem.
Each setting will also be provided with a set of resources and a toolkit for continuing to promote Healthy Heroes after the workshop.
N.B. This course is open to all registered Early Years settings in Hampshire, a maximum of three tickets per setting.
