Event description

Description

Join us for our annual get-together as we look back on interesting projects in museums near you, as well as look ahead to what Museum Development support will be available from April 2018 onwards. Meet colleagues, peers and stakeholders and find out what is happening in the museum sector.

In previous years, this was our 'Open Forum'. While we changed the name - the programme continues to offer what you told us you want. This day is a great opportunity for anyone working in museums or local heritage groups to:

  • Listen to an inspirational key note speech! This year we are delighted to welcome Tonya Nelson, chair of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and Trustee of the Collections Trust
  • Find out what museum development support is available to you in 2018
  • Meet with key stakeholders and funders
  • Hear about and discuss examples of good practice from local museums
  • Meet up with existing contacts, and make new ones for the future
