Hampshire: Take Drugs Seriously

Come along to our free event to learn about the impact of drugs in Hampshire and how we can better protect our community.

Hear from experts in the field, local families and stakeholders and engage in discussions on how we can address drug-related issues.

Speakers will include:

The local MP for Cowplain.

Mum, Hilary Mills from Waterlooville, whose son Ben died at the age of 27 from a heroin overdose and now campaigns with Anyone's Child

Janine Milburn whose daughter Georgia Jones died after taking MDMA at Mutiny Festival in Cosham in 2018 and has since established 'Don't go with the Flo'

Neil Woods, who spent fourteen years (1993-2007) infiltrating drug gangs as an undercover police officer – befriending and gaining the trust of some of the most violent, unpredictable criminals in Britain. He now Chairs the organisation Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP).

Ant Lehane, the Policy Lead at harm reduction charity Cranstoun.

The Local Police and Crime Commissoner will also be present.

Join this in-person discussion about what a new approach to drugs could mean for Hampshire, your family and your community.
