About this event
- Event lasts 7 hours 30 minutes

Over recent years there has been a strong focus on the muscular adaptations of hamstring training but this represents half the muscle-tendon unit. Tendons are integral to the function of the hamstring group and often implicated in injury, making them an area for further exploration.
In this one day, in-person workshop we will explore the science underpinning tendon adaptation in the lower limb, programming exercise to maximise this (including programming choices and coaching skills) and apply this information to focus on the hamstrings. We will consider this in the context of hamstring strain injury, and particularly musculotendinous junction, intramuscular and T-junction injury.
