What is Multiply

Multiply is a UK government initiative to support number confidence. Eastern Education group has devised a comprehensive package to support the multiply offer and imbed the use of numbers throughout its programme.

For more information regarding the use of numbers within this programme please contact thetford@easterneducationgroup.ac.uk

Organised by

Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills.

If you’re aged 19 and over and don’t have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent), you can access free numeracy courses through Multiply to build your confidence with numbers and gain a qualification.

Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare you for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money.

There are courses for beginners to more advanced courses such as GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Qualifications, or equivalent, so you will be able to learn at a pace that suits you.

Our courses include:

  • Classroom-based courses, including part-time and evening, to help you gain a qualification
  • Courses designed to increase confidence with numbers as the first step towards a qualification
  • Programmes delivered together with employers, including on-demand online tutorials
  • Guidance and support that puts maths into every day, relatable, context
  • Whether you want to boost your skills online or in-person, there will be something to suit you.
  • Classroom-based courses and advice will vary depending on your local area.
