A series of workshops celebrating the Women Who Make Festival in partnership with Derbyshire Makes
Create a mill worker's outfit using fabrics woven on heritage looms at Masson Mills. Inspired by mannequins created for the Standing In This Place exhibiton by Rachel Carter and the Lagacy Makers. The workshop will be held in the 1783 mill building alongside the Standing In This Place exhibition. Create the garments with Lucy's guidance and dress your own mini wooden mannequin.

- 11:30am - 3:30pm (3.5 hours with 30 minute lunch break)
- £50 per person
- All skill levels- beginners welcome
- Minimum 5 participants for the event to run- we will contact you and issue a refund if the workshop cannot go ahead
Includes:
- All materials and equipment provided including mini wooden mannequin and Masson made fabrics
- Free parking
The photographs show an example of the garments that can be made- alternative designs and styles are welcome.
The Masson Mills Visitor Centre serves a range of hot & cold drinks and cakes, traybakes, teacaskes, scones & pasties from The Bakewell Bakery and soups. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch.
