Are the seats reserved?

No. The seating is in church pews or chairs and is unreserved.

How will we see the singers if we are seated at the back?

The singers will be very close to you as they move all round the church, and on occasion they will stand on small boxes so you will see them easily wherever you sit.

How long is the performance?

The performance is in two halves of about one hour each separated by a 20 minute interval

Is this really Handel's Messiah?

Yes - it is indeed Handel's music and the original words written for it.

Has this production been seen before?

Yes, it has toured across the UK and Northern Ireland since 2011 - in response to continuing demand from churches and audiences. We refresh it every tour with a mix of existing and new singers, so each performance is as lively and as vital in the earlier tours.

How many people have seen this production?

More than 15,000 people have seen this since 2011. The production has a cast of 12 singers and over 70 singers have taken part over the years.
