Mentoring continues to evolve as a powerful means of personal development in many organisations and professions. The branch has a well established programme of mentoring for CIPD members and actively supports CIPD's national Steps Ahead mentoring programme. Critical incidents can pop up at any time during a mentoring relationship. Well handled, these incidents can provide rich material for learning and development. This event will provide some valuable insights based on current research into the critical incidents faced by mentors in education, training and professional development.
