Aims

Aim of the course is to give delegates information on:

• Diagnosis of pulpal pathology .

• Simplified single file canal shaping technique

• Choosing an irrigant protocol to clean the root canal .

• On how to maximize the chances of long term tooth survival.

• The use of cone beam CT to diagnose and follow up treatment success in endodontics

Objectives

At the end of the session delegates will be able to:

• Diagnosis pulpal pathology .

• Use Simplified single files for canal shaping

• Follow irrigant protocol to clean the root canal .

• Understand the factors that affect the chances of long term tooth survival.

• Understand the use of cone beam CT to diagnose and follow up treatment success in endodontics

When you arrive on the hospital site from the A421 (H8 Standing Way) turn left at the mini roundabout.  Follow the road round the bend and park in the multi-storey car park.  When you come out of the car park do not cross the road at the zebra crossing in front of you.  Turn left and walk up to the next zebra crossing.  Go over the road here and follow the path.  The Education Centre will be on your left. Go upstairs for the Dental Suite (stairs are at the end of the long corridor). It is the first door on the right once you go through the swipe access door.
