Hands-on families zone: Quiet session
Date and time
Families who need a quieter, calmer environment can book in to explore the Hands-On Families Zone with fewer crowds.
About this event
This bookable session is for families with children who need a quieter, less busy environment to explore the Hands-On families zone in (for example, children with autism spectrum conditions or sensory processing difficulties).
A selection of the Hands-on families zone activities will be open. You can meet scientists, do experiments, play games and make crafts.
The Family stage will be open for the National History Museum's Dinosaurs vs. Kids: The Ultimate Quiz, and the Science Museum’s Tree-mendous Adventures storytelling session. These shows are relaxed, you can join in or leave as suits you. They are BSL interpreted.
The Hands-on families zone has trees for shade and grass to play on or take a moment to sit and relax.
This event is part of the Great Exhibition Road Festival: Trailblazers.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you arrive after this time, your ticket may be reallocated.
