Speaker: Rohit Chandegra

Rohit Chandegra is an expert in Oral Surgery. He graduated from Cardiff University in 2012 obtaining a degree in Dentistry. In July 2019, Rohit graduated as a Doctor from King’s College London thereby obtaining dual qualification in both Medicine and Dentistry. This is as part of his long-term goal to become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with an interest in trauma, facial deformity and head and neck cancer.

Rohit regularly manages both surgical and non-surgical extractions, including those under general anaesthesia. He currently works as a Foundation Year 2 Doctor in Accident and Emergency at Watford General Hospital. Outside of this commitment, he works as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinical Fellow in University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), where he has developed his expertise over the past 6 years. He has completed previous dental core trainee roles in London Northwest Healthcare Trusts and UHCW. He enjoys teaching and has experience teaching oral surgery from both a practical and theoretical element.

Rohit is known for his friendly and calm rapport with patients, especially overcoming any dental anxieties. His approach to treatment focuses on providing the best he can for his patients.

In his spare time Rohit enjoys socialising and playing sports. His biggest passion is football and has represented both his universities, the London borough of Brent and a local team. He recently did the new kit reveal for Watford Football Club as part of his role in the NHS.
