Hands on the past: Webzine (be a CSI blogger/journalist)
A series of 6 Saturday morning 'Hands on the Past' workshops for Children aged 7-17. (spread over 6 weeks, Jan. 7th - Feb 11th).
Sessions may be booked individually or for the whole series.
* Learn how to produce a webzine – social media blog about what is going on at Kent CU Learning Destination, CSI: Sittingbourne. The webzine will include interviewing the general public, CSI: Sittingbourne workshop teachers and students doing Hands on The Past ancient craft and archaeological conservation sessions. They will also follow and report on the production and performance of a KCU/CSI play.
Working with a writer and a professional press journalist and film producer, students will learn about what archaeological finds are made of, how they were made and how archaeologists find, study and preserve them. Learn to discuss and interpret this learning, as a journalist – producing written text, photos and film for a CSI: Sittingbourne Webzine
