Xuanxin Chen is studying for a master’s degree at the Royal College of Music, specializing in piano performance under the mentorship of Alim Beisembayev and Andrew Zolinsky. Xuanxin has recently recorded and released Andrew Diggle’s Piano Sonata on streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify. He also serves as an official accompanist at the Royal College of Music.
Xuanxin has been awarded numerous prizes in many international piano competitions. He won the Special Prize (Professional Artist Category) in Pacific Star International Piano Competition and first prize in Ariano International Piano Competition in Italy.
In February 2024, he performed with the RCM Philharmonic Orchestra in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall. He also gave a solo recital in London and was featured in the Jawa Group Gazetee. His exceptional talent was recognized when being selected into the Outstanding Talent Training Program at Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In 2021, he participated in the Cross-Strait (Fuzhou) Art Youth Piano Music Festival. There, he performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto in E minor with Cross-Strait Art Youth Joint Symphony Orchestra.
His performances have taken him to numerous venues, including St. George’s Church, Hanover Sqaure, St Mary Abbots Church, Beaconsfield United Reformed Church, Changsha Concert Hall, Xinghai Concert Hall, Xi’An Concert Hall, Guangzhou Steinway Hall and the Yunnan Provincial Grand Theatre.
