Hanworth was once a rural farming community supplying London with goods from its market gardens. The photograph is of gooseberry pickers at Butts Farm. Katy Cox, a local history expert was brought up in Hanworth, and will tell us the farms and houses of this historic settlement on the River Crane and will lead us through the farming community that once relied on the River Crane
