Happier World Change-makers' Circle
Sat 21 January 2017, 14:15 – 17:30 GMT
The aim of this group is to provide a safe space for happiness changemakers - people who want to create a kinder, wiser and more conscious world, and want to be the change too.
Our conference last November was a huge success, rated 4.8 out of 5 by attendees, with many saying it was the best they’d been to in their lives!
Following this, we’ve decided to continue to nurture our community of changemakers, starting with this meetup this January.
Here’s the format for the afternoon:
2.15pm - Arrive and get settled in. Optional: If you have a copy of your favourite book that you’d like to randomly gift to the group, please bring it along.
2.30pm - Sit in a circle and enjoy 30 minutes of silence together.
3pm - Short Inspirational reading and reflection time to share how things are going for you, if you wish.
4pm - Approximate time for break. Book and enjoy the ball pool in the Museum of Happiness if you wish!
4.30pm - Reciprocity Ring. This is a fantastic process of encouraging giving and receiving, fostering deep, valuable connections and actions. This is how it works: Each person shares one thing they would like support with, be it a work project or anything else. Others are encouraged to help or offer a connection. Let’s give it a try and see what happens!
5.30pm - Approximate finish time. It’s hard to estimate how long the reciprocity ring will take but feel free to leave whenever you need to.
6pm - Optional - Join us for dinner at a restaurant - please let us know in advance so we can book a table at a local Italian restaurant that we like.
