Happiness in Hospital
Wed 19 October 2016, 13:00 – 14:00 BST
A lunch time discussion event exploring how the arts and artists can support reflection and wellbeing in hospital communities.
This roundtable event, hosted by Addenbrooke’s Arts and Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination, will offer an insight into the different ways artists can work with patients and staff in acute hospitals to develop individual and community wellbeing. It will explore the history of arts and health collaborations and ask what place the arts can occupy in the current NHS with a particular focus on Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination's current Taking Note project featured in the Michaelhouse exhibition.
Contributors include Damian Hebron, Head of Arts at Cambridge University Hospitals and Director of London Arts in Health Forum; Ruth Sapsed Director of Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination; Filipa Pereira-Stubbs, CCI artist and Director of Dancemoves; and Rosie Tween, former Addenbrooke's nurse.
