Event description

Description

"There are good and bad times, but our mood changes more often than our fortune." Thomas Carlyle

Thinking is a voluntary function which fluctuates from moment to moment and from day to day. These variances are called moods.

The quality of your own personal thinking dictates your mood. If you feel a mood you then look out into the 'real' world out there to find a reason to feel the mood you are in.

It seems like it works this way….

Something outside of my happens….it effects my mood….I blame it on the thing that happens.

How it really works…

You have 'internal weather' (quality of thought). Sometimes the quality is high, sometimes low.

You feel the quality of my 'internal weather' (over which, just like real weather, you have control)

You then point to the outside world to explain how you feel.

As part of your enlightened move toward psychological peace and freedom an embodied understanding of the nature of moods and what they are really trying to teach you will free you from being a 'slave' to the moods you will inevitably feel.
