Happiness - The interesting links between mood & results
Tue 24 January 2017, 08:30 – 10:00 GMT
Over the past decade, an entire industry has sprouted up promising the secrets to Happiness.
There are best-selling books, Happiness programs, Happiness retreats, Happiness apps, and even little buttons we can press to record how Happy we were with the service we’ve received in shops and airports.
Due to this growing interest, many governments, communities and organizations are using Happiness data, and the results of subjective well-being research, to enable policies that support better lives.
We have a World Happiness Day, The UN has its own “Happiness Report” for the world, and the UK Government has one for us in the UK too.
Lovely though all of this is, many of us might prefer to focus on boosting our productivity and success rather than our Happiness….
…until we start to look at the evidence behind mood and performance.
This session will help attendees -
- Reflect on the latest research on happiness and performance
- Understand the links between positivity and productivity
- Discover how creativity is linked to mood
- Understand how mood in the workplace can be a competitive advantage
Whatever your role in business, whatever your personal goals…
…if you want 2017 to be a successful one, this session is for you
The session will be interactive, fun and thought provoking and there is a chance that you may come away feeling slightly more…well, er, you know…
