Description

The periodic table as first published by Dmitri Mendeleev celebrates 150 years this year. It has become the most important infographic in the whole of science and a cultural icon. Science author and lecturer Eric Scerri will examine the history of the periodic table, how it has changed in the light of discoveries in physics and how it continues to change as new artificial elements are added to it.
