Harborne Arts:)Mile Returns in October Half Term!
Now in its fourth year, this free, fun and family-friendly local arts festival is back by popular demand.
The Harborne Artsmile is a yearly event whereby talented local artists place themselves in up to 12 shops along Harborne High Street. You can choose to get creative and learn new skills whilst you shop, consume or browse; there promises to be something for everyone. Over the years, Artsmile has involved many great arts fusions including; doll-making in in vintage furniture shops, photography in opticians, embellishing chairs in pizzerias, painting in pubs, storytelling in cafes, sculpture making in restaurants, youth quartets outside coffee house… to name but a few! This year, we build on the most successful activities whilst adding a few more, so it is always fantastically fresh and engaging. Come and start the half term with a culture crawl at; Computer Account UK, Brittain Opticians, Emporio Maria, Café Express, Arco Lounge, Café Nero, Slug and Lettuce, Frametec, Harborne Pool and Fitness Centre*.
A word of warning though, if you want to do all of the activities, get there early!
