Harcourt Arboretum Photo Walk
23 October 2016, 14:00 - 15:30
If you LOVE autumn and nature photography, then this walk's for you! On our next walk, join us at Harcourt Arboretum where you'll have the chance to capture on camera some of the best Autumn colours around!
As with all our walks, everyone is welcome! Whatever your camera equipment and wherever you are on your photography journey - whether a complete beginner or a professional - we would love you to join us.
And don't forget to keep and eye on our Facebook Group to join the conversation and keep up-to-date with everything that's going on.
Meeting point and times:
We will meet in the car park at Harcourt Arboretum.
We will start the walk at exactly at 14:00, so please be there by 13:45 or risk having a solo photo walk!
We will aim to finish by 15:30, when we hope you'll join us for some refreshment at The Seven Stars in Marsh Baldon.
The best way to get to the Arboretum is to drive, as they have parking facilities there. Full access information can be found here.
The X40 bus also goes from Oxford to Nuneham Courtenay and takes approx. 15 minutes from the City Centre.
There is a small admission fee for the Arboretum, unless you're an Oxford or Brookes student, in which case it's free. Everyone is responsible for paying their own admission fee on the day. Expenses will not be covered by Oxford Photo Walk.
What to bring:
your camera (charged and ready!)
an SD card or film
a bottle of water
a smile! ;-)
money to pay for admission, and if you'd like a drink or a bite to eat afterwards
Fingers-crossed we'll have dry and sunny weather!
Please note: dogs are not allowed in the grounds, apart from registered disability dogs.
We'll be running a photo contest for the best voted image from this walk. The theme for the contest is "Autumn Colours".
So be sure to keep a sharp eye out for that winning shot during our walk! :-)
The photo contest is entirely optional, but we hope you'll have some fun with it and that it'll inspire you to get creative. The whole point is to have fun, and take photos your way.
Looking forward to seeing you and your camera's there! :-)
