Haringey Peace Proposal 2016
Wed 12 October 2016, 19:00 – 20:45 BST
This is a free lecture organised by SGI-UK open to all addressing three of the most crucial issues that exist in the world today. The lecture will be given by Robert Harrap to communicate the proposals put forward to the United Nations by the eminent Buddhist philosopher Daisaku Ikeda. The lecture is aimed at anyone who has an interest in these issues, regardless of religious background.
Watching the news can leave us feeling overwhelmed and powerless by the scale of the problems that humanity currently faces. This lecture aims to offer practical solutions and a vision of hope that can empower ordinary people.
The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session.
