Description
Even after escaping conflict or persecution to come to the UK, many refugee and asylum seeker children still feel isolated and misunderstood. Harmonise is Music Action International’s national school programme working towards inspiring empathy between refugees and children of all backgrounds.
Bringing together our international team of musicians and children from four primary schools across Greater Manchester, this concert will feature original songs written by the school children and traditional music influenced by Syrian, Roma and refugee cultures.
Organised by
Music Action International create life-changing music programmes with survivors of war, torture and persecution. We work with people in exile, in displaced communities, refugee camps and post conflict settings to improve mental health and well-being, to bring communities together and to speak out against human rights abuses. Our innovative programmes have received multiple awards.
