Harris Playfair
Pianist Harris Playfair brings a blend of raw talent, energy and imagination to traditional music. His style is shaped by his roots in Shetland and his background in jazz and classical composition. Now based in the Borders, he is a sought-after performer and educator, known for his bold arrangements and for nurturing some of Scotland’s most promising young musicians.

Jenna Reid
Described as “the finest fiddler in Scotland of her generation”, Jenna Reid is one of Shetland's most accomplished musicians. An award-winning soloist, she has toured the world and released six acclaimed albums. Jenna has played with Blazin’ Fiddles and featured as a guest artist on the Transatlantic Sessions. Her expressive style, technical brilliance and gift for melody have made her one of the most respected figures in Scottish traditional music today.

Adam Sutherland
One of Scotland’s most exciting fiddle players, composers and teachers, Adam Sutherland's work is recognised and played internationally. He has performed with Peatbog Faeries, Treacherous Orchestra, Session A9 and Nae Plans, and is in demand worldwide as a traditional music tutor. His distinctive style and boundless creativity have made a lasting impact on Scottish music.

John Somerville
Accordionist and music instructor John Somerville is one of the current crop of high-energy musicians to emerge from Scotland's vibrant folk scene. He was nominated for “music tutor of the year” at the MG Alba Traditional Music Awards in 2019 and has worked with a wide range of bands, artists and ensembles across the country. John is also a valued mentor and ensemble coach at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
