Harrogate Chamber - Hear from the York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority

Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce is set to host what is becoming our annual review from the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority (YNYCA) on Monday, 13th October 2025, from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Our event, to be held at Harrogate Theatre, will provide a unique opportunity for businesses to engage directly with regional leaders. Our speakers will be :

1. Jo Coles – Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire & Crime
2. Tom Campbell – Policy Officer to the Deputy Mayor for York & North Yorkshire
3. James Farrar – Chief Executive for York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority
4. David Ryden – Head of Business Growth and Innovation

They will share updates on the progress and milestones made since devolution, with topics covering regional growth, innovation, along with an update on crime in Harrogate. Our meeting offers a platform for businesses to stay informed and ask questions on important issues impacting the region and build connections with key decision-makers.

The event is open to both Chamber members and first-time visitors. The evening will include open networking and refreshments before the main briefing which begins at 6.15pm.
