Harry Potter Book Night
Event Information
About this Event
Harry Potter Book Night takes place on February 7th, and Hunsbury Library invites you to an evening of wonder in celebration of the beloved series. This is a free event for ages 6-16 with limited capacity - booking is essential.
Evening Schedule:
- 4:30 - 5:00: Doors open for event entry. Place the Sorting Hat on your head and let your house be determined. Have your mugshot snapped in case you should ever find yourself admitted to Azkaban.
- 5:00 - 6:00: We are joined by Icarus Falconry who will be providing an exciting, interactive demonstration. Go hands-on with live animals straight from the pages of the books, including owls, reptiles and more.
- 6:00 - 7:00: Take part in a variety of crafts and activities with your fellow students. Craft yourself a wand worthy of Ollivander himself, or fashion a chevron bookmark in the style of your house.
- 7:00 - 7:30: Finish your adventure and test your knowledge with a challenging quiz. There's a prize for the highest scorer, so start revising!
All activities are subject to change.
Wizardwear is optional, but highly encouraged! Last entry is 4:50pm with no readmission. Please bring your ticket confirmation to ensure entry.
Prior to the event, you will be contacted by staff inquiring about allergies and any accessibility issues, so we can best accommodate you on the night.
