About this event

Harry's Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust is delighted to have been selected as one of only five charities supported by Lambeth Palace for 2024.

As a working palace and a family home, Lambeth Palace is not open to the public on a daily basis. It is therefore an honour to warmly invite you to join us for a beautiful Open Garden event on Friday 2nd August 2024.

You will have a unique experience exploring the historic gardens and meeting with the Harry's HAT team who can provide an update on the progress of the charity and our Get-A-Head campaign.

There will be a treasure hunt, live entertainment, food stalls, celebratory fizz, family fun lawn games and much more.

We are thrilled to be joined by the Giant Brain UK, who will be offering the children a chance to play inside an enormous inflatable brain; both a fun and educational activity.

There will also be an opportunity to experience a virtual walk inside a brain, thanks to BrainLab who will be in attendance with thier amazing VR headsets.

Free tours of the library and gardens will operate throughout the day, which can be booked upon arrival.

The gates open at midday, with the open day closing at 3pm. Last entry will be at 2.30pm.

The palace will ensure there are accessible changing facilities and the gravel paths make the space suitable for those who use wheelchairs.

Admission is £5 for adults, with free tickets for children and carers. Dogs are welcome.
