About this event
Come and celebrate harvest time with Glasgow Community Food Network. Bringing together Glasgow’s most exciting food projects, we’re putting on a day of free workshops, talks, creative activities and food. Plus enjoy independent produce from vendors across the city. A great way to find out more about what you can get involved with near you.
Throughout the day, artist and food worker, Thalia Groucott, will be facilitating the making of a collaborative tablecloth, where attendees can create their own stamp using lino and add it to a colourful tablecloth co-created with others celebrating the harvest. The tablecloth will be kept by Glasgow Community Food Network as a record of the day but participants will also be able to print their stamps onto fabric to take home.
We're also hosting a community harvest-swap! Bring whatever you've grown in your garden (plant-based only - no eggs, dairy, fish or meat), donate it to the table, and take whatever you fancy!
Family-friendly, free community meal, free entry and free creche service.
Celebrating, the end of our 5-year Food and Climate Action project, we’re gathering with partners, collaborators and friends from across Glasgow to collectively harvest the knowledge we have gathered over this last half decade. Join us!
