About this event

Join us for a woodland walk with stories and folklore of the harvest, celebrating the farming heritage of Bailey's Wood. This walk is suitable for all ages, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Grange Park Road entrance to the woods.

This event is part of the Friends of Bailey's Wood Harvest Day, showcasing the farming history and heritage of Blackley and Bailey's Wood. It's a free event, and part of Heritage Open Days 2025.

Please note: not all paths in the woods are fully accessible and can be slippy/muddy in some weathers. As far as possible, the walking route will be chosen to suit the walkers in attendance on the day. If you would like more information, please get in touch with the Friends of Bailey's Wood.

Dogs welcome, but please keep them on a lead. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.
