Discover this Red-Listed Endangered Heritage Craft.

During the workshop you will learn basic plaiting and tied straw techniques, producing several traditional corn dollies.

You will be working with a heritage straw, Maris Widgeon, which is grown and harvested in the traditional way on a Staffordshire farm.

Designed for complete beginners and those with some prior strawcraft experience. We will explain some of the folklore, history and traditions behind corn dollies.

Places are limited to a max of 8 participants. Min age 12yrs old. All materials and refreshments provided.
