Harwell Japan Day
Harwell Campus, one of the UK's leading innovation hubs, will host the first-ever Harwell Japan Day in collaboration with Biospire, which is based on the campus and leads its Japan strategy. The event is scheduled to take place on 11th November 2025.
Harwell Campus is a unique innovation centre composed of four major clusters: Space, Quantum, Energy, and Life Sciences. It fosters innovation by leveraging the synergies between these fields. Currently, over 7,500 researchers and business professionals are actively engaged on-site, with investors and manufacturers in the surrounding area also benefiting from its resources.
Collaboration between the UK and Japan in innovation is strengthening, and Harwell Campus places particular emphasis on its Japan strategy. For example, in 2024, it successfully signed an MoU with Cross-U, a Japanese space cluster.
The event will be held at the conference facilities of the European Space Agency (ESA) within the campus. It will be an invaluable opportunity for stakeholders in the space cluster and product providers to directly engage with leading researchers and gain practical feedback on their products. At the same time, the event is expected to facilitate significant networking opportunities in the fields of Life Sciences, Quantum, and Energy.
