Ella is mixed race, addicted to social media and Queen of the Selfie. She's the popular one amongst her friends, comes from a boisterous family and has a thriving Youtube chanel. But when the 16 year old is savegley trolled after a family video, the clan begin to question their own often opposing ideas about identity.
Written by Lynette Linton, #Hashtag Lightie is a heartwarming and hilarious play exploring the conflicting ideas of what it means to be mixed race in Britain today.
