Hassocks Bat Walk

Sussex naturalist Michael Blencowe is supporting local volunteers to offer an event to Hassocks residents interested in learning more about our local bat species.

The event is open to all ages and may be an exciting end to the holidays for young people and their carers. We will be learning some key facts about bats from 7-7.30pm at Proper Coffee before heading out to put our learning into action using hand held detectors to pick out the unique echolocation calls of different species. The walk will be on relatively good terrain, 1.5 miles, sensible footwear and caution of trip hazards at dusk is required.

Please note, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
