Description

This interactive course provides an introduction to Hatha Yoga, a physical form of yoga designed to balance the body and mind, and is an excellent way to learn the basic principles of yoga and gain an appreciation of its many benefits. I will guide you through the fundamental yoga postures with an emphasis on correct alignment and proper breathing techniques.

Every week the course will focus on a specific group of postures, giving you a foundation from which to explore how yoga can work for you. And once you’ve mastered the basics you’ll be ready to join any open level class, whether here, at the Millennium Yoga studio, or anywhere else in the world, giving you a chance to explore a variety of yoga styles at your own pace and wherever you are.

Each week there will be hand-outs with an overview of what we have covered in that class and also a suggested home practice for the week ahead, so that over the course of the six weeks you will start to develop and espablish a regular home practice.

Who is the course for?
Everyone from complete beginners to more seasoned yogis who are looking to dive into the detail of their practice.
