Let’s get ready to RUM-ble, Havana Club’s All The Way Up is BACK!
Last year saw Havana Club host the first All the Way Up event showcasing the awesome talent of Ireland’s fast-elevating creatives including rising stars in Irish music Monjola & Aby Coulibaly.
This year they are back to do it again, hosting Havana Club’s All The Way Up Part Two on Thursday May 12th at 7pm in Wigwam, Dublin 1. This year's event is set to be bigger and bolder with a jam packed line-up of fresh acts, DJs and creatives curated by Mo Cultivation - all celebrating the best of street culture.
The line-up features live performances from Sello, Celaviedmai, Plantain Papi, Alicia Raye, UNQ, Brién & R3D all enjoyed with Havana Club cocktails.
The line up presented by Mo Cultivation include:
Sello - An Irish hip-hop act set to blow up this festival season. He’s one of the few Irish acts to be announced for Longitude and Electric Picnic in the first round for this summer. His single ‘As Gaeilge’ turned many heads last year.
Celaviedmai - A multi-genre artist known for her hard hitting lyrics and explosive live performances. So far this year the Galway star was the cover story for the Irish Sunday Times Magazine, gave a stand out performance at St. Patrick's Festival and released her debut EP, earning her multiple festival slots across Ireland this summer.
Plantain Papi - Dublin based producer, singer and rapper, Plantain is really on the rise this year and known for creatively fusing pop, afro-pop, caribbean sounds and hip-hop. He recently sold out his debut headline in the Academy 2.
Alicia Raye - Irish-afro singer, rapper and model, originally from Cameroon. Alicia is another one to watch for 2022. Her recent track “Go Ali Go”, an ode to empowering women within the urban music scene, received major media play.
UNQ - UNQ has been bubbling on the Irish scene for a number of years with her powerful soulful voice and jazz inspired production. She puts on an incredible live show and draws influence from the likes of Kelis, Ella Mai and Angie Stone.
Brién- one of Belfast’s top emerging producers and DJs, Brién is known for blending gritty lo-fi hip-hop with elements of RnB, Soul and disco. He plays the Boiler Room stage AVA festival this year.
R3D - The brains behind the monthly R3D’s House club, Dublin’s #1 hip-hop club which sells out monthly. R3D is also the producer/DJ for Irish duo Tebi Rex.
In addition to the banging line up Havana Club have curated a streetwear market with independent streetwear design crew Emporium - celebrating the best of street culture.
