Come along to this monthly discussion event where Mark Krantz will facilitate a discussion on the political talking point of that month, whilst PHM staff will draw links from the topics discussed to the museum’s collection. Mark will deliver a presentation outlining the different views and arguments. Topics for discussion will be decided in advance of each session, and participants will have input into the subject matter and themes to be explored. Join us and Have Your Say!
This month’s discussion topic will look at the question 'After Brexit - division or diversity?’
Since the UK voted out of the European Union, there has been an increase in the number of reported race hate crimes against Muslim women and eastern European migrants.
Does the vote to leave mean that further restrictions on migrants must be introduced?
Or should we be welcoming immigrants and celebrating diversity?
In Black History Month tutor Mark Krantz will introduce the issues. Then it is for you to Have Your Say!
Suitable for adults and young people
