You are invited to take part in the BFI's consultation on its Future Plan for 2012 - 2017: New Horizons for UK Film

  • Book now for one of our consultation events
  • Give your views online from 14 May 2012

New Horizons for UK Film outlines the BFI’s proposals for investing Lottery support for UK film and sets out a fresh agenda to capitalise on British creativity and talent. The proposals cover a wide range of activities for supporting filmmaking, production, development, distribution and exhibition, education, skills development and film heritage – with a central focus on building audiences across the UK and on all platforms.

On 14 May we will launch a UK-wide consultation on these proposals and we welcome your comments.

Do you agree with our priorities? Are the proposals right? How can the final plan be improved?

To discuss your views with us in person, please select from one of the events listed above to book online - we hope you can join us. Spaces are limited, so do book early.

The consultation document will be available online from 14 May at Whether you can attend one of our events or not, we also encourage you to feedback online through the consultation questionnaire. The consultation closes on 10 June.

The BFI Executive and Board of Governors will consider the responses and a final version of the Future Plan will be published in the autumn.
