Description
Rescheduled from 2020 the Fritton Lake Triathlon Festival is back for another year under the HaverSports banner. The Fritton Lake Triathlon Festival looks to be bigger and better for 2021! We are working closely with the Somerleyton Estate, within whose beautiful grounds the event takes place. We will again be offering three different distances over the weekend; Super Sprint, Sprint and Standard... with each at different times to give the tantilising option of taking up the Triple Tri Challenge!
This weekend of racing is more than just triathlon: with lots of accommodation on site from Camping to B&B or self catering woodland retreats within easy access of the triathlon, it's a perfect family day out or weekend away. Fritton Lake are offering reduced rate accomodation to entrants and we will be developing the race village to provide a more engaging environment.
Entrants will be entitled to a 10% discount if they wish to stay at the venue during the event. Details will be sent in the confirmation email.

Details are below. Registration will open 90 minutes before each race - transition will open an hour before each race.
Swim
The swim stage is lake based with wave starts of approximately 100 competitors. There is a simple loop (depending on distance) with a seperate water entry and exit point. The large wave starts mean this is certain to be an exciting event throughout! Transition is a short jog along the grass track and is centrally placed to ensure that there will be plenty of places for supporters to cheer everybody on!
Bike
The bike route is a simple anticlockwise loop making its way around Fritton Lake. Three left turns mean it is a fast course with simple navigation.
You can see the Sprint route by clicking here, the Super Sprint route by clicking here, and the Standard route by clicking here.
Run
An enclosed grass track route takes the form of a horseshoe in shape and makes its way from transition towards the woods. The route then bends back towards the lake before the turn point which brings runners back around the curve. Competitors will compelte a number of laps (one for Super Sprint, two Spring, three Standard), with the turn point near transition and race central. On the final lap the finish is alongside race control where everyone can enjoy a well earned rest!
