SPEAKERS CONFIRMED. Join business journalist and moderator Josie Cox with a panel of female business thought leaders in conversation on the topic of having it all: succeeding in your career, balancing motherhood, having side hustles, making it to the gym, keeping your social life and everything in between.

Arrivals from 6:00pm, the talk will start at 6:15pm with Q&A, followed by drinks, networking and shopping at Dai's Performance Space in Spitalfields. Spaces limited.

Josie Cox is a journalist, editor, broadcaster and communications consultant. She started her career at Reuters in Germany where she reported on stock markets and corporate finance before she joined The Wall Street Journal as a European correspondent. Between January 2017 and January 2019 she was the Business Editor of The Independent. She wrote for The Independent and freelances for multiple publications, including The Guardian, the New Statesman, Huffington Post, and Raconteur for The Sunday Times. She is a frequent guest on the BBC’s paper review and has also appeared on Sky News, ITV, CNN, Channel 5, Al Jazeera and Fox News. She is an international event moderator and guest lectures at The University of Cambridge’s Institute of Continuing Education.

Jess Oppetit is the UK General Manager at ViaVan where she oversees the day to day operations of London's consumer service and the strategic direction of ViaVan in the UK. Via/ViaVan is working to revolutionise public transportation and currently operates in 20 countries and completes more than 2 million rides a month globally. Prior to ViaVan, Jessica worked for Apple in Singapore where she lead supply chain operations for its computer division. She has also practiced as a management consultant and lawyer. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Masters of Law from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne. She has two daughters and lives in North London.

Joanna Dai is the founder and CEO of innovative womenswear brand, Dai. Dai is tailored performance wear for the modern woman at the intersection of eco-certified technical fabrics, elegant tailoring and minimal, functional design. The brand is committed to sustainability and social impact that empowers women. Since launch in 2017, Dai has been on a tremendous growth trajectory with features in The Times, Economist, Financial Times, Fast Company and many more, and is a pioneer in sustainable materials innovation and tech-enabled fit optimization. Joanna is a US expat based in London and was previously an investment banker for 8 years at J.P. Morgan in New York and London. She graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and hails from Southern California which could explain her obsession with comfort and ease.

Noorin Mawani has focused her career on investing in private equity, private debt, and through funds in Africa and other emerging markets to generate both financial returns and economic opportunity. She is currently an Investment Manager at CDC - one of the largest investors in Africa. Prior to joining CDC, Noorin held various roles in strategy consulting and finance. Noorin completed her Masters degree at Columbia's Business School and Columbia’s Engineering School.
