Welcome to Freshwalks and an evening circular route starting and ending in the picturesque Peak District village of Hayfield.
We intend to meet at 16:45 and start the walk from Bowden Bridge Car Park (SK22 2LH) at 17:00. The plan is to head past Kinder Reservoir before beginning our ascent of Kinder Scout via a light scramble of Sandy Heys . We'll then skirt the edges of Kinder Scout before taking our sunset picnic at Kinder Downfall around 19:00. We'll continue our walk onto the highest point of the day at Kinder Low before beginning our descent back to Hayfield via Edale Rocks. We should be back between 21:15 and 21:30 subject to the terrain, conditions and size of group. A perfect way to spend these extended light summer evenings.
You can also take the 358 bus from Stockport bus station which calls at Marple and New Mills en-route before arriving in Hayfield. It's then a 20 minute walk to our meeting point at the car park.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

If you've not received the pack by this time, check your email junk or spam and then contact us. Receiving this pack is essential as it includes important disclaimers and health and safety information.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you're fine as you are. We keep track of the attendees and check you off on arrival. However, if you have a confirmation email saved onto your phone, this may be useful on the rare occasion that there are any issues.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
If you can no longer make it, please be sure to contact us with at least 24 hours notice. We try to be as accommodating as possible and understand that work commitments may pop up. Therefore, if you do need to transfer your ticket to a colleague, please contact us with their full details so we can organise the transfer in good time including the signing of the relevant legal disclaimers.
