The Final Straw Foundation will provide gloves, litter pickers, bags and buckets, but if you have any of your own of these that you would like to use please bring them.
If you would like to make a donation to the charity, you can do so here: https://www.justgiving.com/finalstrawfdn
Our community beach cleans are open to individuals and small groups. If you're a business or corporate group looking to join, for your volunteering hours or team-building, we’ll need to arrange a bespoke private clean for you. These private cleans support our charity through a donation, ensuring we can continue our important work. Get in touch via hello@finalstrawfoundation.org to book your tailored experience.

- Well-behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome, but please keep them with you, under control and be aware of others with your dogs even if they are friendly.
Frequently asked questions
Unfortunately you will need to pay for parking in the council car park - please make sure you use a machine to pay for your car if you have driven there, or use the RingGo App.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but please keep them well under control and away from other volunteers unless they approach you or your dog. Some children and adults may be scared of dogs so it's important to make sure they are under full control.
Absolutely, feel free to bring your own kit if you have it.
We do have some child-sized gloves but not a huge amount, so if you have some tough gloves you could bring from home for them that may help.
Yes you can book up to 10 tickets - just click the + sign on the booking page. If you require more than 10 tickets then please contact us directly.
By signing up, you help us to know how much kit to bring - litter pickers, gloves etc.
We sort the rubbish at the end into 'real' rubbish that will be collected by the local council, and recycling. We take the recycling separately so that it doesn't end up in landfill or the Energy Reclamation Facility.
We have looked at the accessibility of each beach clean and for those with impairments such as learning issues, mobility and language. Details are now available on our website but if you do have specific issues then please email us in the meantime.
No all ages and abilities can attend. Some people come as a couple, some as individuals, students and families with children. If you have any specific question then please let us know.
