A Go Construct STEM Ambassador is a representative and promotor of STEM inspired careers and education, specifically for the construction and built environment industry. They will work in a variety of careers throughout construction, including manufacturing and supply chain businesses, and show passion and enthusiasm to inspire the next generation of construction professionals. As a volunteer, they will offer their time, knowledge, and skills to engage with young people in a variety of settings, supporting to link STEM subjects to the real world of work.
The session covers Four key areas.
· A introduction to STEM Learning, the largest ambassador programme in the UK, and the benefits of volunteering as a STEM Ambassador
. A introduction to the Home Builders Federation – Industry Attraction & Skills Scheme
· An overview of the Go Construct STEM Ambassador Scheme, our relationship to industry and how we support you
· Registering as an ambassador, with a live demonstration and step by step process for you to follow.
