ARE YOU A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND OF SOMEONE WHO HAS HOARDING BEHAVIOURS AND DOES THIS IMPACT ON YOU?

If you are a family member or friend of someone who has hoarding behaviours and you feel that this impacts on you then this event is being held for you to gain a better understanding and be better equipped at helping your relative or friend whilst also taking care of you. Please note, this event is not for professionals attending in a work or training capacity.

Hoarding is a complex condition. Our aim is to help those impacted by hoarding to gain a better understanding of this disorder and be better equipped at helping and taking care of themselves, whilst potentially supporting those with hoarding behaviours.

These events will cover the topic of hoarding and will be facilitated by:

  • Kat Band, from Hoarding Disorders UK (East) (CIC) and Decluttering and Hoarding Consultant from The Hummingbird Effect.
  • Rachel Cambell, Social Prescriber.
  • Jo Cooke, from Hoarding Disorders UK CIC.
  • Jayne Davis, Social Care Professional.
  • Leisa Farrar, Decluttering & Organising Consultant, specialising in Hoarding support, from Happy Home Cornwall
  • Amanda Malloy, qualified mediator and experienced personal resilience trainer.
  • Tania Matchett, NLP Coach/Trainer with personal lived experience of Hoarding Disorder.

The sessions will be held on zoom between 18.30pm to 19.45pm GMT on the dates listed. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and we will monitor the chat.
