An initial induction session outlining how to prepare an application for recognition as an Associate, Fellow or Senior Fellow
About this event
ONLY available to Swansea University staff
This session will provide an overview of the application process for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE) at Swansea, which enables staff to achieve external recognition for their delivery of high-quality learning experiences for students in higher education. Participants will have the opportunity to begin to think about examples from their own experience that they could include in an application for Fellowship*, and how they could map these to the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) to demonstrate their good practice in teaching or supporting learning in higher education.
*The Information Session will cover the process of application for all categories of Fellowship that Swansea University accredits on behalf of Advance HE – Associate, Fellow and Senior Fellow.
Following the session, you will be enrolled on a VLE course and you must complete an Application Plan and submit a draft application. There are then a range of optional but strongly recommended support sessions and resources.
