Event description

Description

Head Talks in partnership with How to Academy Launch a series of Wellbeing & Mental Health events

Hear the inspiring story featured on Channel 4 ‘Man on the Bridge’. Jonny Benjamin was ready to throw himself off London Bridge, the mental pain had become too much. A stranger, Neil Laybourn, passing by talked him out of it. Then the 7 year journey to find each other has led to a remarkable bond between these 2 inspiring young men.

Charlotte Reed was hit by depression at a young age. She found healing in drawing and illustrations. She self-published a book to help others struggling with their mental health and began selling it at Portobello Market. A passer-by, high up in the publishing world, was so impressed she was offered a book deal. Her story is now being made into a Hollywood movie and she still sells her book in the market.

In association with Head Talks.
