What is CACAO CEREMONY ?

Cacao is the fruit from the Theobroma Cacao tree, literally translated as ‘food of the Gods’. Native people in Mesoamerica used it as a sacred drink at ceremonial gatherings to create healing, connection and inspiration.

A Cacao Ceremony takes us to sacred space and helps to create ME TIME in our busy and stressful life. It is the perfect space to disconnect from the external noise and take a healing journey into ourselves to relax and reconnect with our heart for deep inner guidance.

The Cacao Ceremony will help us to connect deeper with our heart, find the answers we are seeking, helps us find clarity, and guide us on this beautiful, healing journey during this RETREAT.

THE SCIENCE AND THE BENEFITS OF CEREMONIAL CACAO

Cacao powder is rich with flavonoids, which help lower blood pressure, improve blood flow to the brain and heart, and help prevent blood clots. As an excellent source of antioxidants, protein, magnesium, iron, copper, calcium, zinc, fibre and potassium, you could almost call this SUPERFOOD.

Cacao has a positive impact on our brain through neurotransmitters, can boost up happy hormones dopamine and serotonin. Cacao Ceremony

-Pregnancy (first trimester)

-Antidepressants and 5HTP (low dose cacao ok)

-Antidepressants MAOI

- GERD (low dose ok)

-Serious mental health diagnosis

-Epilepsy

-Low blood pressure (lower dose)

-Allergy or intolerance to Theobromine

Consuming Cacao is generally safe with the only contraindications being if you are on SSRI’s (anti-depressants) then it can cause Serotonin Syndrome as Cacao naturally boosts our serotonin levels. If you are caffeine sensitive & pregnant or on medication for high blood pressure or heart issues then Cacao may not be best for you. If you can drink coffee then you can generally drink Cacao!

If you prefer to drink a sacred TEA instead Ceremonial Cacao, please prepare it for yourself.

If you are unsure in anyway, check with your doctor before taking part in a cacao ceremony, and make sure to advise the ceremony leader of any medications you are on.

As Goddess Sisters, we will all provide a healing space for each other, embracing ourselves with hugs and love, allowing the healing process and sharing our emotions when needed. All that happen inside the space, stays inside the space.

It will be safe, sacred space to express yourself with no judgement in a small group of like-minded Sisters, Goddesses. Group will be small and private.

We recommend to dress up sexy in white, so you can feel like real Goddess (white colour is pure and symbol of being reborn, white includes all other colours,), but if you prefer dress in diffrent color of a trousers go for it!
