HealTAC 2025: 8th Healthcare Text Analytics Conference

HealTAC 2025 the 8th Healthcare Text Analytics Conference, which is held in Glasgow from 16 to 18th of June 2025. As in previous years, HealTAC 2025 will bring the academic, clinical, industrial and patient communities together to discuss the current state of the art in processing healthcare free text and share experience, results and challenges.

We are delighted to announce keynotes by Dr Jason Fries from Stanford University and Dr Alison O'Neil from Canon Medical Research.

HealTAC 2025 will feature panels on "Opportunities and challenges in LLMs for health research: social inequalities, bias detection, and mitigation " and "Challenges in AI deployment within NHS" (industry forum). Furthermore, there is a pre-conference workshop on June 16th on "NLP in mental healthcare and research" (https://healtac2025.github.io/workshop/).

Registration fees

Due to generous support from Health Data Research UK, CogStack, Frontiers, Research Data Scotland, University of Glasgow and Healtex, we will keep the registration fee low as before: an early registration fee (by 16.00 GMP 29th May 2025) for students is expected to be £100 and for others £200, and will include the full 3-day programme, lunches and the conference dinner. Late registration fees (after 16.00 GMT May 29th 2025): £150 for students and £300 for others.
